She is also a professional photographer, graphic designer, structural designer and owner/operator of a successful business that caters to several markets, including the fishing industry. She is sponsored by companies such as Grandt Rods, Daiwa, Skeeter, Yamaha, Lowrance, Missile Baits, and Lake County Watersports, and is currently growing her social media channels in the fishing and outdoor markets. Through her seminars and speaking engagements, Violet strives to inspire and influence all anglers from women, to youth, to adults… on all novice and professional levels. Mike Wollenberg is a passionate fishing educator and the proprietor of JN21 Angling, a faith-based organization dedicated to introducing kids and their families to the joys of fishing. Through JN21 Angling, Mike provides hands-on instruction for beginner and intermediate anglers while mentoring the next generation of aspiring fishing professionals.

A devoted multi-species angler, Mike has spent years fishing waters across the Midwest, gaining a wide range of knowledge and experience that he brings with him every time he hits the water. His passion for the sport extends beyond fishing itself—he enjoys teaching others how to become more confident and successful anglers.

Mike’s background in the fishing tackle industry, combined with his recent venture into the fishing boat business, gives him a unique perspective on equipment, techniques, and the constantly evolving world of fishing. He enjoys helping anglers navigate the overwhelming amount of information and gear available today so they can focus on what really matters—catching fish and enjoying the outdoors.

In addition to his educational efforts, Mike competes in both club and open-level tournaments throughout the region. When he’s not competing, he can often be found taking anglers out on his Lund boat for on-the-water coaching, sharing practical techniques and insights that help others elevate their fishing skills.

For Mike, fishing is more than a hobby—it’s a way to build community, grow faith, and pass along a lifelong passion for the outdoors.
